Mr. Popick is a native New Yorker. He was born in the Bronx and raised in Nassau County, New York. He received his undergraduate degree from The State University of New York - College at Oneonta in 1981, graduating with honors in Business - Economics. He earned his law degree from The Washington College of Law at The American University, Washington DC in 1984.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Popick immediately went into the personal injury field. Early in his career, he worked for a firm that specialized in insurance defense work. During his time at the firm, Mr. Popick learned how the insurance companies and defense attorneys view and evaluate personal injury cases. He developed a unique insight regarding the handling of accident victims' cases from the defense perspective.
After several years of handling matters from the defense side, he felt he could make a more positive impact on people's lives by representing accident victims against the insurance companies. For the past 30 years, Mr. Popick has dedicated himself solely to representing accident victims with great success. Mr. Popick has been instrumental in settling several multimillion-dollar cases.
On a personal note, Mr. Popick lives on Long Island with his wife and three children. He enjoys following professional soccer, football and basketball. He likes walking and going to the beach with his family. He also enjoys volunteering his time as Vice President and Senior Board Member of the local youth soccer club and is a member of the local Soccer Advisory Committee.
Mr. Popick is admitted to practice law in The State of New York and in The Eastern District of New York and The Southern District of New York Federal Courts. He is a member of The New York State Trial Lawyers Association, The New York State Bar Association and The Queens Bar Association.
